"Viking Forests" symbolizes the wilderness of contemporary challenge which humanity faces (ie. poverty, global warming, disease, war, technological and scientific advancement) and in which we, like the vikings of old, must be prepared to "explore" - fearlessly, creatively, and with purpose and passion!  One way of representing the tales of this journey through the regions of our world and the seasons of our lives, is through our arts - poetry, prose, and pictures...
