Sports are one HUGE area of life where children learn about self-discipline,
work ethics, good sportsmanship, winning, losing, and politics...and all at a very early age. Let's try to make these
experiences positive ones. Much of the intensity of sports shapes characters for life!
This page is dedicated to my sons, my nieces and nephew, their friends,
my husband, and to my many, many students who have shown me what it is to be a team player and what being an athlete is truly
