Dawn of Illumination

Filling up the senses

spaces and places

In the soul

Completion, unity

Inspiration

Wondering, wondering

Naïveté and innocence

Before the Fall

Beautiful songs

Within the heart

Of music

Trace a line of caresses

Across my mind

Across my soul

Songs that surely bear the stars

Along the Milky Way

Past tall spruce

 silhouetted against luminous skies

Branches sighing softly in the breeze

As moonlight traces shadows of intrigue

Across glistening snows

Beautiful

Is the fire

Lit within

And viewed in shape and form

In crackling logs before us

And we are drawn

Again

To Beautiful Light

And the Dawn of Illumination

That is the merging of understanding

And completion
